September Favourites.

Late to the party, but here are some of the products I absolutely loved last month!

BLUE CORN 3 IN 1 DEEP CLEANSING FACE MASK
The Body Shop, 100ml, £10.
I've been using this for a few weeks now and I've completely fallen in love. I set my eyes on it in the store and was put off by the smell, obviously if you're putting something on your face you want it to smell good. The texture seemed perfect, it was thick, creamy and beady to help exfoliate. I'm so glad I bought it despite the smell, I actually don't think it smells that bad anymore after using it 1-2 times a week.
You apply the mask to wet skin, avoiding the lip and eye areas and leave for about 10-15 minutes, in that time it goes hard. After the time is up you apply water to exfoliate then rinse. As someone with oily skin, but not majorly, I found this perfect. My face feels more fresh and it does exactly what it's set out to do; cleanse, exfoliate and purify.

VITAMIN E GENTLE FACIAL WASH
The Body Shop, 100ml,  £8.
I've been using this product for a few months now and it's a permanent part of my daily routine. Admittedly, it smells like 'old lady soap' but I enjoy the smell. Apply onto a wet face whether that in the morning or evening, I tend to use it twice a day, before cleansing and toning my face, massage into your face then rinse. It's recommended for all skin types but I suggest using it if you have an oily complexion, as after I use it my face feels more dry, like it's ridden of the excess oils. I love how soft and not oily my skins feels after using and how it's also tough on make up.

SOAP & GLORY SUGAR CRUSH BODY WASH
Boots, 500ml, £6.50.
This is another product I've actually been using for a while but I love it so much I keep rekindling my love for it. This is one of the best smelling things I have ever used in the shower. It smells like sweet lime, although I'm not really a fan of citrusy things, I can't help but ignore that when using this. It smells so delicious and it's by far one of my favourite things I've ever used. Especially when you wake up in the morning feeling like you're carrying a tonne of bricks and you drag yourself into the bathroom, it completely wakes you up and makes you feel refreshed and ready to take on the day. The texture is creamy and it's a lovely consistency, not too watery that it all dribbles down your leg, but not too thick that it feel like you're smearing body butter over yourself. I would recommend this for everyone, especially if you need something for the day time to keep you smelling sweet.

 ONE DIRECTION 'OUR MOMENT'
The Fragrance Shop, 100ml, £36.
I'm a huge fan of One Direction, so when they released their perfume early September, I rushed out to go and try it. Chances are I probably would have bought it anyway despite what it smelt like. However I think it smelt gorgeous. It smells sweet and floral, almost like a sweet shop in a way.  I've been wearing nothing but this perfume since I bought it and it's lasted quite long compared to the other fragrances I completely drain. I can't help but feel like it smells similar to another fragrance I can't quite put my finger on, but it does smell amazing. I completely suggest picking up a bottle. It's rather affordable, you can buy it from almost all the outlets which sell fragrances. When I went there was an offer for a 30ml bottle for £19.99. So if you just want to give it a try, I definitely suggest hunting around for the best offer.

YANKEE CANDLES 'SPICED ORANGE' & 'CINNAMON STICK'
Clinton Cards, Small Jar, £8.39
I actually believe there was an offer on when I bought these two candles, I got the two for about £12. I absolutely love yankee candles. I often buy two for each season and autumn is my absolute favourite season, mainly because of the smells. I've used the cinnamon stick candle more than the spiced orange one, purely because I prefer the scent to the other, but when they're burning at the same time, my room just smells so amazing. These candles, no matter what scent you get, they fill the room with an atmosphere. My room smells like cinnamon days after I've finished using the candles. I'm aware there are cheaper alternatives to yankee candles and if you can buy a yankee one, I believe you should because in my opinion they're so worth the money.

SKIN PRIMER MATTE IT
The Body Shop, 25ml, £12.
I haven't changed primers since the Nivea Express Hydration primer was released, but as much as I loved it, i was on the hunt for a new one, seeking some adventure. I spotted this primer whilst I was on a rampage around The Body Shop, hauling everything I could get my hands on. I thought that there was no harm in trying it. I love this so much! I chose the matte primer over the moisturising one as my skin can be oily and I want to reduce the appearance of that. The consistency is thicker than any primer I've used in the past. It felt more like a serum, in my opinion. However when I applied it, my apprehension completely disappeared; not only did it help my make up look more radiant, matte and stay as it was for a really long time, it was so soft on my skin and surprisingly light. Would definitely suggest trying this primer, since the body shop are against animal testing and stand for issues like a more realistic idea of beauty.

CARMEX MOISTURISING LIP BALM
Superdrug, 7.5g , £2.55.
The seasons are changing as so is the weather. It's getting colder and the wind and rain is getting harsh on my lips, causing them to become chapped and dry. Everyone knows how much of a pain it is when your lips are dry. Which is why this lip balm has become an essential for September. I prefer the little pot, as shown, however there are tubes of lip balm, which also double up as a lip gloss. Protecting my lips is important to me as I hate how uncomfortable it feels when they're dry. This balm is actually cherry scented and smells amazing. It also contains SPF15, to protect your lips from the sun, so it's completely useful all year around.
It's cheap and cheerful and that's why I love it so much.

 THEY'RE REAL MASCARA
Benefit, 8.5g, £19.50
I've loved benefit products since I discovered them. However it's completely beyond me how I've taken this long to buy this mascara. They're not lying at all when they claim you'll see results similar to fake eyelashes. I refuse to wear fake eyelashes now since I have a mascara that can simulate exactly the same effects. Even with one coat, my eyelashes look better than any other mascara has made them look. I adore the brush, the little spikey top bit is so you can vertically coat your eyelashes making them looking increasingly better than the generic horizontal fashion. I physically can't find anything else to say about it, it's that good.

ILLAMASQUA PURE PIGMENT LOOSE EYE POWDER 'ORE'
Debenhams, 1.3g, £16.50
I've been experimenting with eye shadow and different eye make up looks and this powder is perfect when blended together with 'diamond dog' from Urban Decay. This powder is highly pigmented and so sparkly it's unreal. It's a lovely bronze colour but in some lights can have golden undertones, and in some lights brown, which I think is why I love this so much. It's almost as if you can create a completely new look just by being in different lighting. Definitely at it's prettiest when used as part of a smokey eye effect.
BAG
New Look, £19.99
I usually buy all my bags from New Look but recently I have been disappointed on the selection of choices. I'm constantly looking for a bigger bag to cram everything in, and I believe I have found exactly what I'm looking for. I stumbled across this bag by accident, literally. I tripped over and fell into this bag, causing me to fall in love with it. It is absolutely huge. I can fit two pairs of shoes and my make up bag in there comfortably. I think the thing I like the most about it, not only the size, is the fact it's zip-less. The only downside is that people can look into my bag whenever they want, but it means it'll last a lot longer than my other bags, which I've had to throw away due to breaking the zips. I love this bag, I love the size, I love the colour and I loved the price.

TWIZZLERS
For those who don't know, twizzlers are an american sweet which I am 100% addicted to. You can grab these in any store that sell american sweets, or obviously america itself. I'm not sure how much a pack of this size is because my friend got her dad to buy me some from america. I know a pack of four will cost £1-3 roughly. Obviously because they're american, they often tend to be more expensive in England. Please cry for me when I run out.
I was actually convinced I had finished this packet long ago, but discovered them earlier today. My best friend returns from Flordia on Sunday and I know she'll definitely have a suitcase full of twizzlers for me. I only really like the strawberry ones, though. They taste far better than the Cherry, or any other flavoured ones.

Thank you so much if you managed to read through this entire post. I'm aware I can ramble on and on. Let me know what your September favourites were, or what you're loving so far in October.

NOTE: Some of the prices stated in this post may be different to what I paid due to possible offers I have forgotten and discounts I have been given with my the body shop membership card. Also, different retailers often price things differently, there shouldn't be a huge difference, but I've used the prices on the websites for most of these products.
